Science and the Bible
There has been a lot of debate as to whether science reveals how the world or the universe was formed. There will be a lot of information about the relationship between science and the Biblical truths about the creation of the earth and the heavens above in this page.
Humans incessantly explore, experiment, create, and examine the world. The active process by which physical, biological, and social phenomena are studied is known as science. Individuals involved in science, called scientists, often spend their entire lives in pursuit of answers to probing questions. This ongoing process often leads to new areas of scientific inquiry.

The field of study called archaeology combines the excitement of treasure hunting with the investigative labor of detective work. Archaeology is the scientific study of the material remains of mankind's past. Its discoveries are the principal source of knowledge about prehistoric cultures.
A sense of the past is a light that illuminates the present and directs attention toward the possibilities of the future. Without an adequate knowledge of history the written record of events as well as the events themselves today's events are disconnected occurrences. History is a science a branch of knowledge that uses specific methods and tools to achieve its goals. To compile a history records are needed. Some of these are written records: government papers, diaries, letters, inscriptions, biographies, and many others. For ancient history, especially of the Middle East and China, there are lists of kings, of wars, and of significant events such as the building of temples or natural disasters. Archaeology uncovers many of these records.
The materials of archaeological study are both the things made by people and the things used by them. All the things fashioned by people including settlements, buildings, tools, weapons, objects of ornament, and pure art are called artifacts. Nonartifactual materials things that were used but not made or fashioned include the unworked bones of the animals that were eaten, the traces of the plants that were either grown or collected for food, and the charcoal from ancient hearths.
The word archaeology is derived from two Greek terms archaios, meaning "ancient," and logia, meaning "science" or "study of." Thus archaeology originally meant the study of ancient things. By the beginning of the 20th century, however, archaeological study had expanded to include the reconstruction of the arts, technology, societies, religions, and economies of past cultures.
Since the mid-20th century there has been another shift in the emphasis of archaeological study: from finding out how cultures change to trying to understand why they change. Some modern archaeologists are trying to establish archaeology as a true science from which generalizations or laws can be made about the causes of cultural change.
