	About Us New Hope Ministries is a young and vibrant evangelical Ministry with a strong Baptist, Apostolic and Pentecostal background. The vision started at Omega Baptist Church in Dayton Ohio with our Pastor's Calling under the Pastoral Care of Reverend Doctor Daryl Ward, with full clarity later at New Hope Ministries Richmond Virginia under the Spiritual Care and Nurturing of Pastor Elder Moses Scott. His wife, Minister Theresa Callisto was called into service at the Glory Bible Church London, Now Glory House under the spiritual care of Dr. Albert Odulele, (Senior Pastor Glory House) where she worked as a member of the protocol team until 1996 when she left for the USA.. After over ten years of servitude as a born again Christian, with prayer, meditation and theological study, she was ordained as a Minister and now oversee the protocol, Alpha Teen, and women's ministries at New hope Ministries UK (New Hope Ministries UK has a parent Church in Richmond Virginia Under the direct Leadership of Elder Moses L Scott. We also fellowship with other Churches around the world as led by the spirit of the Lord) Our UK Ministry is under the Pastoral Care of Pastor A Callisto and his wife, Minister Theresa Callisto and their Sons. Pastor (Elder) Callisto also sits on the council of Elders at New hope Ministries International, Richmond Virginia, USA New Hope Ministries UK is growing and has adopted a missionary stance. We hope to expand and educate our members of the Gospel truths written in the bible, encouraging each member to further carry the cross and the true word of Our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ into every home, to every family and people of all culture, race, religion, and creed. As a teaching and growing Church, we have many Ministries including youth, and children Ministries. These Ministries that cater for the young have workers that are vetted by CRB (Criminal Record Bureau). As a member of the CCPAS (Church Child Protection Advisory Services) our workers attend seminars and workshops for keeping up to date with regulations and access to CCPAS as needed for support on how to deal with youth and children that has been exposed to difficult living.
Our Pastor Pastor Callisto is a devoted man of GOD with deep worldly experiences and testimonies that will match many people's current struggle with life in general. When he became born again through Christ's Grace and Salvation, he devoted his life to follow his call to work for the LORD and follow his (GOD's) commands and precepts. Pastor Callisto have pure unwavering faith in GOD and sincere reverence and awe for the LORD GOD Almighty Pastor Callisto is a successful and distinguish scholar in the fields of Science & Technology, Psychology and business; and Membership both with the British Computer Society and the British Psychological Society "My life's desire is to Spend the rest of my days in the house of the LORD, serving his flock with humility and grace with GOD's direction, to behold his (GOD's) Glory and his immaculate aura, and learn from the Throne of Grace. I enjoy reading the Bible and listening to the audio KJV Bible read by Alexander Schourby I also enjoy worship songs and old spirituals. Baptist Stance The Story of Adam and Eve teaches us about the original sin. Before they were banished form the garden of Eden, there the LORD ALMIGHTY rained a curse on them for disobedience (see Genesis Chapter 3). Later in the book of Genesis, sin progressed with Cain with the killing of his brother Abel and in Chapter 6, God's anger towards Man was kindled and he cleansed the earth with the great flood, sparing Noah and his family with two of every kind of animal. This Flood is the first ever baptism from original sin as it was later repeated by John the baptist while he was preparing the way for the Lord Jesus Christ. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ also submitted to baptism by water, though he knew no sin until his death on the cross when he became sin for us. We believe in baptism, and encourage the dedication of children as this is a significant practice to cleanse them of original sin. As they grow in the word, our prayer and responsibility is to guide and nurture them in the path that will eventually lead them to know more about the suffering, death on the cross and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, so they can then decide to be baptized to receive the Holy Spirit. He made them his Apostles and called "Simon Peter son of Jonah" to be the leader (The Rock on which the Church was Built, See Matthew 16:13-20 & John 21:15-25). We believe and encourage discipleship and the ordination and installation of spirit filled, Bible believing, evangelical Christ followers to nurture the flock of the Lord until his return. Yielding and ensuring the growth and multiplication of his vineyard through the gift of the Holy Spirit and Authority from the Throne of Grace. Pentecostal Stance Sukkot, or Pentecost (50 days after Passover), was a Jewish harvest festival when first fruits were offered to GOD, later celebrating the renewal of GOD's Covenant. The gift of the Holy Spirit was given to the followers of Jesus Christ after a sound from Heaven like a strong wind fill the house where they were waiting and saw tongues like fire resting upon each of them. This sparked the beginning of the Church (see Acts 2:1-12). The Language reflects on biblical history of GOD's appearance (Exodus 19:18; Ezekiel 13:13). It also picks up on John the Baptist's expectation that Jesus Christ, Our LORD and Savior, would baptize with the Holy Spirit and Fire (See Luke 3:16). We strongly believe and encourage speaking and praying in tongues, however we also believe in other gifts such as Prophecy as detailed in the teaching and letters of Apostle Paul to the Corinthians, we believe in sharing and encouraging these different spiritual gifts for the edification of this blessed Ministry (see 1 Corinthians Chapter 12).

Baptist Stance
